Following a threat made through social media to C.A. Frost Environmental Academy, police say they have a person in custody.

Fox 17 reports that the threat made via SnapChat was discovered Wednesday; it read

If you go to C.A. Frost don't go to school tomorrow. I am going there with a gun to shoot everyone.

C.A. Frost has two campuses in Grand Rapids, one on Covell Avenue and  another on Laughlin Drive.

Grand Rapids Public School spokesman John Helmholdt said they immediately sent out alerts and they believe the situation is under control, with no threat to the schools.

GRPS also planned to have additional security guards at school buildings Thursday morning, Wood TV 8 reports.
