We have winter activities this weekend and we have some events that will make us start thinking of spring and summer! We have hockey, and basketball, and several shows as well. As always… plenty to do in West Michigan!

Some activities include the kids, while others are more for the adults.

    Winter Fun in Muskegon

    Winter is here! Grab that fat bike and head out to Muskegon for some super fun beach riding and luging at the Muskegon Winter Complex! Meet on Friday at our rental beach house on Twin Lake for hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Saturday and Sunday mornings will start with big breakfasts at the house and then you will head out to embrace all the winter fun that Lake Michigan has to offer as we learn how to luge, ride our bikes along the shoreline, snowshoe, ice skate through the woods, or cross-country ski (activities will be dependent upon conditions).

    Included in the trip pricing: 2 nights lodging at a rental vacation home, Hors d'oeuvres and drinks Friday evening, Breakfast Saturday and Sunday, Dinner Saturday night, Rental fees & luging lessons at Muskegon Sports Complex. If you don’t want to participate in this event, the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex is open for other events as well, including ice skating on a trail.

The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments – matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps – to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.

    The Dan Band is a comedy band created by comedian Dan Finnerty. The band is known for its covers of originally female-performed pop songs, with added obscenities and swearing, made famous by the band's appearance in the films “Old School” and “The Hangover”.     Great Skate Winterfest

    Grand Rapids Griffins players will be part of the 2018 Great Skate Winterfest, which will run for 34 consecutive hours on Saturday, Jan. 20 (starting at noon) and Sunday, Jan. 21 (ending at 10 p.m.) at Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids. Everyone is invited to join this celebration of winter and help the Griffins Youth Foundation provide opportunities for more than 350 deserving boys and girls – many of whom are underprivileged, underserved, at-risk or have other special needs – to participate in the great sport of hockey at no cost.
