The Isabella County Sheriff's Office is hoping to contact a 12-year-old who helped save a toddler's life. 

According to WZZM-13 a 3-year old boy wandered into the pool area of the Days Inn & Suites in Mt. Pleasant Tuesday night.

Video shows the toddler slipping on steps and going underwater.

A 12-year old boy walked into the pool area area and noticed the the toddler, who'd been underwater for about two minutes. He pulled the child to safety and was able to carry him into the hallway, with his brother's help.

The child's mother then performed CPR. He was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to recover.

UPDATE: The 12-year-old has been identified as Brayden Armstrong of Casnovia. According to WZZM-13, Brayden was attending a wrestling camp at Central Michigan University and was staying at the Days Inn and Suites. He was headed back to the pool to grab some clothes he'd left behind when he saw the toddler underwater. 

The 3-year-old is the son of two hotel employees. Police say he is expected to be OK.
