 Kalamazoo River Wildlife Cleanup

You know the story, 800,000 gallons of crude oil has leaked into the Kalamazoo River in Marshall and is traveling the river on it's way to Lake Michigan.  While it is not believed to make it to the lake much wildlife along the way has been affected. While only trained professionals are permitted to help cleanup the oil and help out the wildlife, you can still help!

We have partnered with Two Men and a Truck, and 5th/3rd Ballpark to collect goods needed to help cleanup the birds, fish, muskrats, beavers, etc. coated in oil.

We are collecting needed items here at the station through Friday and then at 5th/3rd Ballpark on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Two Men and a Truck will then deliver the goods to "ground zero" at Crossroads Church in Marshall on Monday morning.

Items needed are listed below:

Aquariums
Pet Carriers
Linens- Towels and Cotton Sheets and Pillow Cases (not the fitted type with elastic)
Cardboard Boxes Medium/Large
Small Whiteboards
Duct Tape
Bug Spray
Dawn Dish Soap
Paper Towel
Fire Wood Small/Medium

We are located at 50 Monroe NW.  We are in the same building as TGIFriday’s downtown and are located on the 5th floor.  We are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
