A Dozen Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnuts for only 80 cents on Friday!

Krispy Kreme is celebrating their 80th anniversary by selling a dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts for 80 cents!

There is a catch... you have a buy a dozen doughnuts at original price and then the dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts (my favorite!) will only cost you 80 cents! According to a Twitter post from Krispy Kreme, there is no limit, while supplies last on Friday, July 14th, 2017.

Krispy Kreme started in Winston-Salem, North Carolina back in 1937. The company's founder, Vernon Rudolph bought a yeast-raised doughnut recipe from a chef in New Orleans. He then rented a building in what is now historic Old Salem and began selling the doughnuts to local grocery stores.
