A List Grand Rapids ISN’T On, And That’s A Good Thing!

It's the list of the top cities where "Parents spoil their kids'". Grand Rapids isn't on this list, as a matter of fact, no Midwest city is in the top 10, unless you count Minneapolis as being in the Midwest. I personally think of them as being in the UPPER Midwest! The Yahoo site Shine says "Kids in Manhattan are still the most spoiled in the United States and their mini-hipster neighbors in Brooklyn are a close second" The site sites "parents pull strings to get their two-year-olds into $30,000-a-year nursery schools". Nice.

One thing I noticed. The top 5 least spoiled cities? All in the Midwest. Good old fashioned values and common sense here in America's Heartland!
