Al Green Plays Grand Rapids – But a Very Short Show

Grand Rapids Own Al Green played at the Fred Meijer Gardens last night. It would be a homecoming of sorts for Mr Green - who left here in the mid 1960's.

The reviews are in - the show was great, but started late, and Mr. Green barely played for an hour before leaving the stage. Citing the Weather (Which, in his defense was a dark to the north, but it never rained here) he left the stage after just under 60 minutes.  Now, with tickets at $70, I'm not sure I would have been a happy camper, regardless of who was on stage.

What are your thoughts? Should the show have gone longer and did people get ripped off? Tickets should have been half the price...
