Although we’re always hearing about Americans eating healthier, there’s no denying some people are still chowing down on fast food. In fact, it is still a $208-billion industry.

But these days it’s getting harder and harder to satisfy customers, who want healthier options, and less chemicals, which is why some of the biggest names in the business are losing money.

So, what fast food chains are still doing well in the eyes of customers? Well, the American Consumer Satisfaction Index conducted a poll to find out. They surveyed over 5,000 people asking them to rate chains on factors like food quality, staff, speed of delivery and cleanliness, and the results aren’t really all that shocking.

The overwhelming favorite fast food chain of those surveyed was Chick-fil-A, which scored an 86 out of 100 in the survey. (Are there any around Grand Rapids? I don't think I've seen one since I've been back?)

According to the ACSI, the company has a reputation for better quality food, and they do one thing and do it really well.

On the flipside, McDonald’s really can no longer use the slogan “I’m lovin’ it,” because not a lot of people are. Micky D’s was America’s least favorite fast food chain, scoring only 67 points, which is down from 71 last year. And it’s really not much of a surprise since McDonald’s sales have been steadily on the decline.
