It certainly isn’t cheap to live in a city like San Francisco, which may be the reason a lot of the people who live there do whatever they can to save money, and that includes cutting coupons.

According to Coupons.com, the City by the Bay is the most frugal city in the country, with locals saving more than 56.6-million dollars using coupons from the site. Overall the top ten frugal cities saved over 253-million dollars using Coupons.com, which let’s face it, is a lot of dough.

Coming in just behind San Francisco is Washington, DC, followed by last year’s number one Orlando, Florida and then Tampa, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina.
