In the modern world, we note every place we go by posting a photo of it to Instagram. So what do you think is the most Instagrammed location in Michigan?

HINT: It's within an hour of Grand Rapids, and it's beautiful. 

The web site Busbud has compiled a list of the most Instagrammed location in every state (and most countries as well). For instance, in New York, it's the Empire State Building, and in California, it's Disneyland.

So what location gets posted to Instagram the most from Michigan?

If you were to ask me, off the top of my head, I would have said the Mackinac Bridge, or maybe 'The Big House', Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.

But the answer, surprisingly is Silver Lake State Park near Mears. The Oceana County location features some of the only sand dunes in the state you can drive on, so that adds to the appeal of the place.
