Andy Scores Big for the WFGR Studio
Andy’s 5 year old granddaughter is in town from Seattle for her yearly visit, and like every other year she gets a trip to the store. She can pick out a toy, clothes or whatever she wants really, within a small limit.
As we were strolling up and down the aisles of toys at Meijer, she first elected some Furby looking thing that was on close out, and I thought I was going to get out of it cheaper than last year when she wanted a “Mr. Tato Head” for $12 bucks. In the end she picked out some Disney Princess Shoes, a 3 pack of shoes good for any ball held at a castle for $22, so it cost a bit more than I originally thought, but hey….it’s once a year right?
On our way to said shoes…I passed this! ROCK ‘EM- SOCK ‘EM ROBOTS!!!! I snapped them up faster than you could blink an eye….and here they are as the latest addition to the WFGR studio, which quite honestly is becoming a nostalgia destination in Grand Rapids. Stop in sometime!!
