Ann Arbor is known for its active blues music scene, so it should come as no surprise that a blues guy from A-squared would show up on the NBC reality vocal competition 'The Voice'.

And Laith Al-Saadi didn't disappoint.

I think we should just end the competition and let Laith release his take on the Box Tops classic 'The Letter' as a single. The 38-year-old bluesman impressed two of the judges, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, making them hit their buttons. The duo then traded compliments over his performance.

Laith isn't the first guy from Michigan to woo the judges on The Voice. Traverse City's Joshua Davis had a long run on the show last season, finishing in the top five.
