Do you have antiques, jewelry, artwork or other collectibles you would like to get a quick appraisal estimate on?

Saturday brings an opportunity to get a professional appraisal for $15.

The Muskegon Museum of Art will hold its annual Appraisal Fair on Saturday, October 15th, from 10AM to 4PM. Professional appraisers will answer questions about the history and value of jewelry, artwork, antiques, and other collection items. Appointments are not needed. Items will be evaluated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Appraisers will offer verbal evaluations for $15 per item or set of items ($12 for museum members). The fee includes museum gallery admission. Written appraisals cannot be provided at this event, but the appraisal will give you a good idea if it would be worthwhile to pay to get a written appraisal on an item for sales or insurance reasons.
