April 7 -- today -- is unofficially National Beer Day!

According to RateBeer.com, National Beer Day is a celebration of the Cullen-Harrison Act being signed into law by President Franklin Roosevelt on March 23, 1933.

The law was enacted on April 7 and allowed the brewing and sale of beer in the United States for the first time in 13 years as long as it was less than 4 percent alcohol by volume (ABV).

As a result, April 7 is known as National Beer Day and April 6 is called New Beer's Eve.

And what better way to celebrate than in Beer City, USA!
