Today is National Back to School Day.

Well, that's half true,. Of course in Michigan school doesn't start until after Labor Day.

In other parts of the country, school has been in for a couple of weeks now. What???

When we we're growing up, school at least waited until the week before Labor Day.

It never made sense. We went a half day on Monday, then full days Tuesday through Friday, then had Labor Day off.

Now, kids are off until September since Labor Day is always the first Monday in September.

So, someone decided August 14 is "National Back to School day" And while Summer vacation still has a couple of weeks left here, you can take advantage of other states misfortunes.

"A Sonic Cheeseburger comes with a beef patty, American cheese, crinkle-cut fries, chopped onions, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and a choice of mustard, mayo, or ketchup. They're normally a little over $3 each"
