19 years ago today, the most famous low speed car chase in history happened. If for some reason you weren't one of the 95 million or so people watched it while it happened, here's a recap. OJ Simpson and Al Cowling took off in OJ's white Ford Bronco leading the police on a chase through the streets and freeways of Los Angeles. OJ finally surrendered, not before he was close to killing himself.

Yes Grand Rapids has gotten Griffins Fever! After struggling to get 5,000 fans for the first 2 rounds of the playoffs, The Van is the hottest ticket in town! Game 3 was 400 short of a sellout, and now Friday's game is SOLD OUT. WFGR gave away the last 4 tickets in the city yesterday, and we have a 4 pack of tickets to Saturday's game...if there is one!

Im all for a big burger. Earlier this spring Steak and Shake released a 7 patty burger on it's late night menu and looked fantastic. Seven patties and seven pieces of cheese for $7.77. Heaven. Now Wendy's in Canada might have topped it!

It's possible Channel 8 might have crossed the line this time. And I'm torn about it. The station that's famous for "BREAKING NEWS" and strange story telling has produced a piece about Jessica Heeringa, the Muskegon woman who has been missing since late April. She was last seen at the gas station in Norton Shores where she works. Most in West Michigan know the story.
