Hunger Action Week returns for its second year this September. The annual series of events, organized by the Food and Nutrition Coalition, a subcommittee of Kent County’s Essential Needs Taskforce, boasts a revamped itinerary and a sharper focus on advocacy.
As someone who works in downtown Grand Rapids, I have encountered my fair share of panhandlers over the last three years. Those who rely on the kindness of others for their survival have, apparently, been doing it illegally, though. Soon, though, that could all change.
A lonely little mustache doesn’t look good on anyone, except for Tom Selleck. But what if you had multiple mustaches? Wouldn’t that be awesome? Especially if your eyebrows were made out of mustaches. We decided to improve your favorite musicians, artists and entertainers by giving them mustache eyebrows. (And eyebrow mustaches for the ladies.)
