Originally from Allegan, I have lived in Grand Rapids since 2007. I’m a Grand Valley State University grad. I remember taping songs off the radio and making mixtapes as early as fifth grade, and I have been collecting vinyl albums since I was 16! My favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan and T.Rex. Grand Rapids NBA D-League Team Announces Potential Franchise Names
In March it was announced that Grand Rapids would be getting an NBA Development League basketball team to be affiliated with the Detroit Pistons.
The franchise originally came from Springfield, Massachusetts and was named the Springfield Armor, but clearly the team needs a new name to reflect its new home!

My Top 5 Record Stores in West Michigan
When I was 15 I found my dad's copy of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. I thought that was SO cool, but there was one problem- I didn't have anything to play it with! So when I turned 16 a few weeks later my mom surprised me with a record player and I've been amassing a collection of records ever since. I'm now 25 and my collection has grown to over 200 records.
