I Grew up Petoskey Michigan... and for the last 13 years - have made Grand Rapids my home. I love it here, and  the people are great too. I started in Radio as as a teenager, and going on my 14th year in radio in West Michigan!   I've lived in all four "Quadrants" of Grand Rapids, but now reside on the West Side with my Dog, two cats, 13 pinball machines and my grand piano.  Love hockey, football, auto racing, playing the piano, singing, live music, theater and being outdoors - and love exploring West Michigan and new places.    I'm THRILLED to be on Classic Hits 98-7 from 10-3 Every day.   Drop me a line anytime!

My Hometown Gets a Shoe! [VIDEO]

This is cool on two fronts! First off, my hometown of Petoskey is getting a Nike shoe named after it's famed state stone "The Petoskey Stone". It's all pioneered by a new downtown Skate store in the heart of the Grand Rapids

Rope Swing Gone Wrong [VIDEO]

This made me laugh. The good news is, she's okay.  With summer coming up, we'll soon be doing this at our favorite watering hole. I took a nasty fall of a tire swing when I was a kid and broke my tailbone, and still have the scar to prove it

Big Rapids Opens Racist Museum

This is crazy, and it's even in our own back yard - Big Rapids.

This place is loaded simple ashtrays and fishing lures, a full-size replica of a lynching tree. But all are united by a common theme: They are steeped in racism so intense it makes you blush!

Ted Nugent Gets a Visit From Secret Service

If you missed the news over the last few days, Michigan's own rocker Ted Nugent got himself, intended or not, in some hot water for making some comments about the president...  It now appears as though Ted is going to have a little "BBQ" in his words and talk things out.  Not sure if the secret service does BBQ's or not, but pass the ribs!

Man Steals Gas From Police Car

Yep, gas prices are bad, and I guess this guy was desperate, and stupid enough to steal gas from a police car.  The stupid part is that he posted it on Facebook for all to see. A gas can, a siphon hose stuck into a police cruiser in eastern Kentucky and a middle finger raised. Real classy, and stupid!
