America on Tap Was Surrounded by Rain, But we Made the Most of it [Photos]

It rained this morning, and we got a little wet within the last half hour of America on Tap at John Ball Park today. But, the weather held out long enough in between for us to have a fantastic time eating great food, drinking great beer, playing fun games, and listening to some awesome music.

Man Accused of Photographing and Making Lewd Comments to Grand Rapids Women Arrested

Grand Rapids police have arrested the man accused of making lewd comments to and taking photos of women as they walked down the street.

WOOD TV8 reports that police have arrested 69-year-old Thomas Larry Chubinski on a misdemeanor stalking charge for making sexually suggestive comments to a woman as she walked with her 2-year-old.

’19 Kids and Counting’ Cancelled by TLC

TLC announced Thursday that it has officially canceled 19 Kids and Counting, following revelations about acts of child molestation committed by one of the kids, Josh Duggar, when he was a teenager. Some of Josh's sisters were among his victims.

The network had originally pulled episodes of the show following the revelation, but at taht time they did not say that it would be gone for good.

The ESPY Awards aren't all televised, and we're a little sad about that. Mostly because Ronda Rousey won one that wasn't televised, and called out Floyd Mayweather Jr. in spectacular fashion!

Crews from the Grand Rapids Fire Department have issued a shelter in place order for neighboring businesses following a chemical release on the northwest side.

The HAZMAT situation happened around 1 p.m. Tuesday at Haviland Enterprises, near Turner Avenue and Ann Street.
