Detroit's Ford Fireworks are famous throughout the state of Michigan. But there's another display a bit further north that just might be the biggest and best fireworks show you've never attended.

Bay City holds a 3-day Fireworks Festival on the weekend leading up to the 4th of July. The 2017 edition includes 10 minute fireworks displays Thursday and Friday nights while Saturday night's show is an epic 36 minutes of fireworks.

The viewing is best done from two parks on either side of the Saginaw River. But the display can also be seen from Interstate 75 - and it's so very temping to pull over and watch, but you should probably keep driving, since you're on the interstate and all.

Take a look at a finale from a few years ago.
