No matter how great a deal you get at Best Buy it won't top this one.

Employees at the electronics retail giant in Valley Stream, N.Y. bought a WiiU for a boy who regularly comes into the store to play the one on the floor. It was an early and wonderful Christmas present for the disbelieving youngster.

It's hard to properly gauge the teen's reaction when one of the employees gives him the gift and explains he no longer has to trek to the store to play because he can now enjoy the unit in his own home.

In a consumer landscape where customer service is disappearing, this is an interesting and feel-good way to counter the changing shopping experience. As the YouTube description says, "This is amazing, why shop at Amazon when you have genuine people in this world that you can continue to help keep a job."

That's true, but the unfortunate reality is most stores can only purchase so much merchandise for customers. Unless it becomes an everyday occurrence, competing with the online behemoths may still be quite a challenge.
