As Seen on TV

Back in 2003, John Roy became the first winner of the newly revived Star Search comedy competition and pocketed a cool $100,000, earned a CBS development deal, got a guest-starring role on a CBS program. But John never let all that success go to his head, instead he continued doing what he loves, performing standup comedy in dirty night clubs all over the country. That's not to say he's abandoned TV altogether. Roy is also a veteran of The Late, Late Show, Hollywood Squares, Comedy Central Presents, Last Comic Standing and HBO.

Comedic Symphony

A rising young talent, Tony Deyo is known for his near perfect comedic timing, which almost certainly came from his years as a professional symphony musician. In one of the more interesting paths to stand-up, Tony graduated college with a bachelor's degree in education and master's degree in music. He then spent several years performing with various symphonies while at the same time working as a middle school teacher for three years before realizing that he had a strong distaste for children. In 2005, Tony made his television debut on The Night Shift on NBC.

Could Be Award Winning

When forced to pick just one of the great things about comedian Steve Iott, we can't help but choose his mastery of improv comedy, because that skill means no two shows are ever the same. Described as a guy who sees the world as if it were reflected in a big metal spoon, Iott is a longtime comedy veteran who has been seen on both Comedy Central and A&E. He also pens (or types) an award-winning online column which you can read on his website, however, he also says that he has a habit of lying about winning awards.
