Bruce Springsteen Joined by Bob Seger in Detroit [Video]

Bruce Springsteen fans who caught his “The River” tour at the Palace of Auburn Hills outside of Detroit were in for a special treat, an appearance by native son Bob Seger.

As Bruce was singing in the crowd during “Tenth Avenue Freeze Out,” Steve Van Zandt brought out Seger and handed him a tambourine, and he then stayed on stage for the set’s closer, a cover of the Isley Brothers’ “Shout.”

Earlier in the show, Bruce warned the crowd that their state was considering “similar” bathroom legislation that forced him to cancel his recent concert in Greensboro, North Carolina. "We hope the bill doesn't pass, 'cause we love playing in Michigan,” Bruce said. “So keep your heads up."

ONE MORE THING! It looks like Bruce's daughter Jessica Springsteen will not be representing the United States at the Summer Olympics. The 24-year-old is a champion equestrian rider, and was an alternate at the 2012 games, but she didn't make the United States Equestrian Federation list to ride at four overseas observation events that will determine the 2016 Olympic team.
