Bruce Springsteen is on board to headline the ninth annual Stand Up for Heroes benefit, which will be hosted by Jon Stewart. The event, which takes place November 10th at Madison Square Garden in New York City, honors military veterans and raises awareness and funds for the Bob Woodruff Foundation.

Comedians John Oliver, Seth Meyers, Ray Romano and trumpeter Chris Botti are also confirmed for the event, along with performances from other special guests.

The event officially kicks off the New York Comedy Festival, which brings together over 60 big name comedians for performances from November 10-15.

The event has expanded across its eight-year run, recruiting comedians like Stephen Colbert, Louis C.K., Jim Gaffigan, Ricky Gervais, Conan O'Brien, Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart and Robin Williams – and raising over $27 million for injured service members and their families. Last year's wide-ranging installment featured a five-song acoustic set from Springsteen and a raucous set from Louis C.K.

Springsteen also performed at last year’s benefit, treating the crowd to a five-song acoustic set, one of which you can view below.
