Can An Ebola Preventing Biohazard Suit Be Sexy? ‘Yes!’ Says Costume Website

While these days Halloween is usually made up of adults in sexy costumes, it’s not uncommon to see shocking and tasteless ones as well, and the latest hubbub seems to be over a combination of the two.

With America’s Ebola panic in full swing, the “Unique Costume Shop” BrandOnSale has started selling what is being dubbed the “Sexy Ebola Containment Suit.” The outfit, which sells for $59.99, includes a short white dress, face shield, breathing mask, safety goggles and blue latex gloves. For a little extra, you can also buy bright yellow knee-high rubber boots.

Needless to say, many people are not happy about the tasteless costume.

"I'm in complete and utter disgust," one Twitter user reacted, while another added,  "The fact that there's a sexy Ebola nurse costume proves the sexy costumes have gone out of control.” Adds another, “there is actually a 'sexy ebola nurse' costume being sold on the internet..... please remove me from this planet and never bring me back.”

In case you were curious, ACTUAL producers of biohazard suits have reported a dramatic uptick in sales since Ebola came stateside last month.
