98.7 WFGR presents the 4th Annual Cardboard Bobsled Derby, Saturday, February 22 at Cannonsburg Ski & Ride Area. Teams will put their sleds to the test down the Cannonsburg hillside! Grab a teammate and start constructing your one of a kind cardboard bobsled!
- Registration is $30 and includes an event t-shirt! Teams pay day-of the event.
- Participants must be 21 years of age, or older
- Each team consists of two members
- Bobsleds can only be created from cardboard and tape; paint and wax can also be used. Get creative with your design, decorations and costumes!
- There will be a cash prizes, Cannonsburg gift certificates and bragging rights!
- Teams must register by February 17, to qualify for the event. To register, please fill out the form below.
Team registration/check-in is at 2 p.m. on the hillside deck at Cannonsburg. Judging of the sleds will begin at 3 p.m. at the base of the Face. Sleds must be at the starting line up by 3:45 p.m. and in running order. The race will begin at 4 p.m.
