Cars Reunite For Special Preformance On Jimmy Fallon!

I always kinda liked the Cars. Never my favorite band, but always thought they were OK. Their vid for “You Might Think” should be in the MTV Hall of Video Fame, if they have one of those.

The band broke up in 1988, and Ric Ocasek had always discouraged talk of a reunion since then, telling one interviewer in 1997 “I’m saying never and you can count on that.” Well, “never” finally came around this past year. The remaining living members recorded a new CD and it was released a couple of weeks ago.

Last night on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” the Cars played a classic live on TV for the first time in over 20 years…”Let’s Go!”
