Thanksgiving...the thought of it might make some shudder with the thought of a house full of relatives and friends that are set on drinking every drop of booze in the house and eating themselves into a coma, and of course there are those who think the best part of Thanksgiving are the deals on Black Friday where no matter how grateful you for what you have, there is always good cause to punch someone in the face over a flat screen t

Who can forget their 16th birthday? I was handed the keys to a 1976 Monte Carlo with an 8 track player in it, which I immediately ran up to the unclaimed freight store that used to be at the corner of 10 Mile and 131 and got me a cassette adapter so I could hit the roads with my Whitesnake cassettes and acid washed jeans. The last week or so, I have been thinking a lot about things. One of them has been radio.
I was asked a while back if I would be interested in joining the WFGR staff, and quite honestly, I was only passively interested. I didn't know much about the station, other than my dear friend Matt worked there, he had nice things to say about the people working there and that it was an environment completely different than what I was used to. Ok, so it worked out that we could make a deal and I would come to work, do the radio show and all the other stuff that went along with it, both good and bad (yes, getting up at 3:30 in the morning is in the column you would imagine it is).
Oh...how true it is! Have a great weekend y'all. We appreciate you listening and hope you remember that drinking and driving is just plain old stupid.....don't go doing it. Stay tuned for that chance at winning our "Christmas Cash" You will have a chance to win at least twice today
