November 5, 2012 On my calendar, there are lots of free food opportunities. Free smoothies, free sandwiches, free fries and the such. AND free donuts. Usually National Donut Day (or free donut day) is in June. Now I'm watching Take 5 and Company on TV 13 THEY say TODAY is "National Donut Day"? I'm confused.
October 31, 2012 Yes, I know, even though today is Halloween, Christmas has already started. At least that's what the folks at Target tell me. Well there still are a few hours of Halloween left, and you can score free food from Krispy Kreme!

July 10, 2012 And all over the country too! It's 7/11/12, or better known as 7-11's birthday! The store, which was named for the hours it originally was open (7am to 11pm) gives away FREE Slurpees on July 11 every year. Except in Australia. Free Slurpee Day is on November 7th there, since in other countries, dates are "month/day/year" so 7/11/12 is in November. See what you learn by reading this blog? :)

June 20, 2012 Now the first day of summer is becoming a marketable day for fast food joints. And I, for one, couldn't be happier! Lets start with the Summer Solstice. June 20th is the longest day of the year, and Sonic is giving it up! Half Price shakes all day Wednesday! 2 area Sonics will be mixing and whipping to your hearts content!
