Flyers Fans Boo Fighting Cancer
Those Philadelphia fans...they are an interesting bunch. First they throw snowballs at Santa, and cheer injured players. Now they boo fighting cancer. Stay Classy Philadelphia!

Former President Clinton was on the Late Show with Dave Letterman a couple of days ago, and let the talk show host have it. Clinton is a pretty funny guy, and Dave asks for it alot...
Some of these are kinda obvious, but alot of this study is pretty telling. What kind of Halloween costumes couple's wear explain alot about their relationships. TresSugar has the story here: "What Your Halloween Couple Costume Says About Your Relationship"
Ok...so the Lions are 4-0. And while they have been the laughing stock of the league for a long time, the Jacksonville Jaguars are stepping up to the plate to take over the title! And even though what the grounds crew do in Jacksonville isn't a direct reflection of the team, still....this isn't a good way to keep the team in Florida. If attendance and things like this don't get better...
As usual, you can't make this stuff up! This "Best of Craigslist" ad comes from the Grand Rapids Free Section, and the authors are being cute. But It's still a great Best of My List!
Guess who's back? Cheech and Chong...back from the 70's with their van and some new "magic" brownies! The two haven't been together as their iconic druggie characters since the Mid 80's, although they have appeared together, usually playing separate roles from the famous duo.
This is actually kind of cool. If you have been to a Family Fare or D&W recently, you have been asked to sign up for their new "Yes" cards. It's a shopping card that saves you money, and can get you free gas and other nice things. These cards are all over the country, but it's a first for West Michigan in nearly 20 years.
You thought Matt Hendricks story about Wilford Brimley still being alive was something, 188 year old Andy Rooney is finally leaving "60 Minutes" after 33 years. Rooney announced yesterday his last commentary will be Sunday. Rooney was 155 when he joined "60 Minutes" back in 1978.
Yes! In the Celeb Grill Challenge at the Knapps Corner D&W, the Townsquare Media Team of WFGR...Cluck, and 100.5 The River took....3rd Place! Now you maybe be wondering...why do we care about 3rd place? Well the 2 teams ahead of us--WOOD TV 8 and WZZM TV 13--both had "celebrity" chefs...And the 3 radio group had no such "chefs"...and of the 3 WE finished at the top! So only behind the TV Stations! Winning!
So my night started at 9pm last night. I went to the store, and then went home. I had some show to watch..."2 and a Half Men"...or something. Most people were either going to watch "Dancing With The B-Lister's" or "2 and a Half Men". I'm sorry, but the Hell's Kitchen Summer Finale....please. One or the other. I picked Cryer.
Michael Bolton doing the Jack Sparrow song from the internet last night on the Emmycast...Classic...the lame "Health risks from becoming an Emmy winner"...not so much. The 4 hour erection/acceptance speech joke? Are you kidding? And the low talking smarmy announcer guy who does the smart ass remarks after mentioning the winner has been "nominated 13 times and this is their 4th win"...really? There's a reason the Emmy telecast never wins an Emmy.
will probably lead me to an early grave! If you have younger kids at home (mine are 8 and 6) you get questions. LOTS off questions. Why is this, what is that, what are those, etc. And while I try and be patient with them, sometimes I want to run my HEAD INTO A BRICK WALL!
