The Federal Communications Commission voted 3-2 Thursday to adopt net neutrality rules for an open internet.

The FCC's decision makes for regulating internet service providers like public utilities, prohibiting companies from charging for faster lanes on the internet.

Mayor’s 100 Campaign Works to Increase Grand Rapids’ Youth Employment [Video]

The Mayor's 100 Campaign is under way, with its goal to increase employment among Grand Rapids' youth.

A big part of the effort is the Leadership and Employment, Achievement and Direction (LEAD) pre-employment training program, which seeks to increase meaningful employment among 15- to 24-year-olds in Grand Rapids. After training is completed, participants are eligible for employment with a Mayor's 100 Campaign business.

Scammers Spoofing West Michigan Business’ Phone Number

A new phone scam making the rounds in West Michigan is hurting more than just the people being called. A local business is also being tied to the scam.

"We've gotten several phone calls from people stating that we had just called their house," Shawn Howland, a manager at Lentz USA Automotive at 1227 Leonard Street NW in Grand Rapids, told WZZM-13.

The thing is that no one at the shop has been placing those calls.
