One of the longest-standing marks in U.S. pop history has been equalled. British folk-rock act Mumford and Sons have placed six songs on Billboard's Hot 100 chart at the same time. No group has achieved that feat since the Beatles did it the week of Sept. 19, 1964.

'Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Gaga?' Well, not exactly, but in a recent interview with Billboard Magazine, lead demon Gene Simmons had a few interesting things to say about Lil' Miss Meat Dress herself. "She's terrific," said Simmons. Well, this story over the weekend tops them all because I guarantee you I've never anybody throw up on stage. Yuck!
With Black Keys and Foo Fighters on the bill, there was definitely star power at Saturday's (Sept. 29) Global Festival in New York, but there was no mistaking that Neil Young and Crazy Horse were the headliners of the night. There was definitely a lot of respect shown for Young, as all of the acts from the day's event anxiously joined the singer for the all-star finale.
He's a multiple Grammy winner, one of rock's most respected guitarists, and a founding member of the multiplatinum AOR legends Dire Straits -- and yet Mark Knopfler's new album doesn't have an American release date. What gives?
