85 On 131? State Highways Are Looking To Up The Speed Limit.
Not in Michigan though. Don't think we will ever see 85 mph on 131 or 96 anytime soon. Legally I mean...;) State officials in Texas are looking to make a stretch of highway between San Antonio and Austin the second fastest road in the world, behind some places in Poland. The toll road would have a legal speed limit of 85. Some roads in Texas already are posted at 80.

Happy ” O’Green Day ” ?
Really doesn't have the same ring to it, does it? Lisa Curtin, an elementary school principal in Massachusetts renamed St. Patrick's Day to "O'Green Day" to make it "inclusive and diverse" for all the students at Soule Road School. How politically correct of her! Parents of students at the school, however, think she might be taking things a little too far.

Fort Wayne Indiana mom, Dynesha Lax, chose an unusual punishment for her 14-year-old law-breaking son this past Tuesday. Fed up with his bad behavior she made him stand on the side of the road wearing a sign reading: "I lie I steal I sell drug (sic) I don't follow the law".

‘Geezer Bandit’ Strikes Again!
California's infamous "geezer bandit" may be caught red handed... literally. The suspect, believed to be in his 70s, and wanted in connection with more than a dozen robberies, had a red dye pack explode during his most recent hold up on Friday. The Geez dropped the money in the parking lot and took off. The elderly thief likely got the dye on this hands and clothing, and also may have also left a key piece of evidence.
