Officials with US Counter Terrorism claim to know who is plotting the use an explosive, probably a "dirty bomb" carried out in a car or truck. Officials say there is at least one U.S. citizen among the three people suspected in the plots to carry out attacks on New York City and Washington DC.

A terrible tragedy at the Indiana State Fair left 5 people dead and at least 45 people injured, as a storm front was moving in. The Indiana State Police called the fair organizers and reported strong winds causing a “pause” in the concert after Sara Barilles left the stage and before the country act Sugarland was set to perform.

First Lady Betty Ford arrived in Grand Rapids yesterday via the Gerald R. Ford International Airport. The plane landed a few minutes before 5pm and was greeted by Governor Snyder and Mayor George Heartwell. The motorcade, carrying the late Betty Ford, then traveled to the Gerald R. Ford Museum for a public viewing and memorial service.
