Create Your Own Beer with Block Brewing Co.

The newest brewery to pop up in Michigan is Block Brewing Company in Howell.

Located at the site of the old Shark Club at 1140 S. Michigan Ave.in Howell, Block Brewing Co. needs your help and now’s the time to get in on the action!

Right now Block Brewing is using crowd funding to promote their opening and to finance a portion of the brewing equipment and remodeling, and they're giving away a ton of great rewards in the process!

One of the rewards includes the opportunity to create your own beer in their brewery and be involved in the entire process from start to finish. Brewmaster Tom Block will even help you improve your brew and when it’s finished you can take some home!

And while plenty of breweries have “mug clubs”, what I like about Block Brewing’s VIP Beer Club membership is that it’s very interactive! You can login into their website and create your profile, select and rate the craft beers you’ve enjoyed as well as publish your ratings and tasting notes, and you’ll get exclusive member-only access to extremely limited releases of Block Brewing, as well as other Michigan craft beers.

Block Brewing is set to open in late October and will feature a barbeque-centric menu.

So now you can go shopping at the Tanger Outlet mall in Howell and then enjoy a few brews at Block Brewing!
