A four year old girl in Ferndale, Washington was dragged into a robbery scheme by her baby sitter, but little Abby was too smart to be swayed by the plot and became the cutest key witness to a crime in history.

A 4-year-old girl helped detectives nab a thieving babysitter, who staged a robbery at the little girl’s Ferndale, Washington home then tried to blame the heist on a neighbor.  The girl, who has only been identified as Abby, told deputies in Ferndale, Wash., that her 17-year-old babysitter, the sitter’s boyfriend and another boy told her to “get out of the house ’cause they wanted to steal stuff.”

“The bad guys stole my kitty bank. They stole my iPod,” Abby told PIX11 sister station Q13 Fox News.

The babysitter allegedly told police that two armed black men broke into the family’s home in Ferndale, Wash., adding that one of them looked like a next-door neighbor.  But Abby knew better and while detectives were questioning a neighbor for hours because fit the sitter’s description of the thieves, Abby spoke up. That’s when the babysitter’s story started to crumble and she eventually confessed to the scheme. Mom isn't identified by name either, but says she's very proud of her little girl. We are, too!
