We already knew Def Leppard would be playing a pair of state fair dates with Styx and Tesla this summer -- and now we know they're just two stops on a full-length package tour.

Def Leppard broke the news via Facebook post, announcing a series of dates that "will storm through over 40 cities throughout North America," kicking off June 23 in Tampa with a July 17 date at DTE Energy Theatre in Clarkston.

Pre-sales will open to members of the band's Rock Brigade Concert Club on Feb. 17, followed by staggered pre-sales for Citi cardmembers, LiveNation account holders, and Facebook and local venue followers. Sales open to the general public Feb. 20. For complete information, visit Def Leppard's website.

The tour will reportedly coincide with Def Leppard's first album of new material since 2008's 'Songs from the Sparkle Lounge,' a still-untitled set of songs that singer Joe Elliott has hinted may find the band moving in an "experimental" direction.
