A haunted house in Denver is taking the top spot as best in the country. Halloween-themed magazine Fangoria recently named Denver's 13th Floor Haunted House as the scariest in the entire nation. See if you agree with some video footage from inside the attraction.

The marketing coordinator for the 13th Floor Kaitlyn Jaffke says they named the Haunted House the 13th Floor because nearly 70-percent of buildings in the U.S. were made without a 13th floor.

The magazine's rankings were based on detail, how technology-oriented it was and the "wow" factor for audiences.  The Beast in Kansas City, Mo., and Cutting Edge in Fort Worth, Texas, round out the top three best haunted houses.
