When a known cheater like Tom Brady still has the NFL's top selling jersey, what hope do honest, well liked players have?

The NFL has released the list of this year's top selling jerseys, and you have to go well down the list to find a Detroit Lion. Which Lion is tops on this year's list?

Yup, if you guessed Megatron (Calvin Johnson), you win. Johnson's Honolulu Blue number 81 is 33rd on the list of the top 50 highest selling jerseys released yesterday by the NFL, two below third string QB Tim Tebow of the Philadelphia Eagles.

I kind of understand Tebow's appeal, what with his honest demeanor and Christian ideals, but why is Johnny Manziel of the Cleveland Browns still in the top 50? Not only does he clearly stink as a player, but he doesn't seem to have any redeeming qualities, outside of drinking heavily.

Other head scratchers on the list of top selling jerseys is two rookie quarterbacks (Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston) outselling proven commodity (but perhaps a bit boring) Andrew Luck.

Former Lion Ndamukong Suh's move to a new team, Miami, hurt his jersey sales has he tumbles from the 15th highest selling jersey to the 22nd.
