Dish Network Viewers Might Lose WZZM Monday!
Now would be the time to get the rabbit ears out! If you are a Dish Network viewer, you might want to have an alternate way to see “Dancing with the Stars” or “The WZZM Morning News” with our very own Dave Kaechele! Dish and WZZM’s parent company Gannett Broadcasting are in a retransmission dispute, and also are having a problem with something called “The Hopper”
A new Dish Net feature is “The Hopper”, which records programs and skips commercials on network affiliates. Gannett has an issue with it’s advertiser based programming being altered by the new technology. All I know is if you want to keep seeing Dave on the ZZM morning show and you have Dish, be ready1 I have rabbit ears and I can get WZZM in Eastown, so be prepared!
