I work in downtown Grand Rapids. That's where WFGR is located. Altough it doesn't happen often, I hate seeing places around town close up shop. Espcially downtown. I really hated to see Quiznos go, and even though it's not downtown, i was not happy to see Sandmann's BBQ on Wealthy in the Baxter neighborhood close up as well. And now a downtown eatery is closing over the weekend.

The Pita House, with 4 local stores, is closing this weekend. Failure to renegotiate a new rental agreement with the buildings' landlord is causing the sudden closing. Too bad, I liked the food and the atmosphere. The people behind the counter were nice too. Hate seeing this. The owners say they will be back. I hope so buddy, I hope so...
