After AC/DC announced their tour dates earlier this week, several artists followed suit, making it tough to decide which shows to hit this summer, with so many to choose from.

Def Leppard, Steely Dan and Bob Dylan were among the crowd announcing tour dates Thursday.

Def Leppard has spent the last year on the road as a special guest forKiss, but now the boys are going to the stars of the show. Billboard is reporting the band, along with Styx and Tesla, are hitting the road this summer.

That tour will stop at Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant on July 21.

But don't expect any three-band jams onstage. "We have to keep an extremely tight ship when there's three bands on," Elliott explains. "You go one-minute overtime and they're fining everybody $25,000 a minute or something. And we're not gonna drop one of our songs to have a 10-minute blues jam with Styx or Tesla. I don't really see the appeal."

Steely Dan has decided to extend their Rockabye Gollie Angel Tour, and they're bringing Elvis Costello along for the added dates. The new shows kick off July 6th at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, and run through August 12th in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Locally, the closest we get to that show is a July 27 stop at Clarkston's DTE Energy Theater.

Before the joint tour, Steely Dan will be out on the road on their own, with eight shows confirmed beginning in April, including sets at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival.

Bob Dylan may be 73 but he isn’t slowing down anytime soon. The legendary rocker will be hitting the road this spring in support of his latest album “Shadows of the Night.”

The month-long trek kicks off April 10th at the Borgata in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and stick mainly to the south, before wrapping up in Austin, Texas on May 6th.

Unfortunately, there are no Michigan stops for Bob and his band.

“Shadows of the Night,” which debuted at number seven on the “Billboard” Album chart, is comprised completely of Frank Sinatra covers.

And the Doobie Brothers are staying on the road. The band has decided to extend their 2015 tour, with The Eagles’ Don Felder featured on select dates. New Doobie Brothers dates kick off April 22nd in Midland, Texas. The entire tour is set to run through September 10th in Arlington, Virginia.
