Severe bad weather caused The Eagles to briefly delay a concert in Australia on Saturday night.

A thunderstorm with 86-mile-per-hour winds hit near Australia’s outdoor Hanging Rock venue in Victoria where the band was playing. The Eagles were in the middle of their third song when the stage began to shake, and a screen came loose and swung over the crowd.

The local news outlet, the The Bendigo Advertiser, reported that three songs into the show, during “Tequila Sunrise,” a thunderstorm swept through the area, causing the stage to shake.

The Bendio Advertiser quotes one person as saying that Glenn Frey screamed, “Get out” and Don Henley said that the group would complete the set once the danger had passed.

After a delay of 45 minutes, which Vintage Vinyl News reports involved the lowering of the other screens as a precaution and a re-positioning of their sound equipment, the Eagles returned to the stage. They did not take a break for intermission, as has been their custom.

The Eagles went on with the rest of the show, and to make up for the time did not take their customary break between sets.

The Eagles tour of Australia and New Zealand will last another two weeks. The band plays in Sydney tonight.
