Elton John is remembering the late Casey Kasem.

In his closing set at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn., on Sunday night, the veteran rocker dedicated his performance of "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" to the radio legend, who died earlier Sunday. Kasem was 82 years old.

But that was just one of many hits and classics Elton performed. Other highlights included "Tiny Dancer" and "Bennie and the Jets;" a guest appearance from Ben Folds on "Grey Seal;" and an encore of "Your Song" and "Crocodile Rock."

The four-day event also featured Lionel Richie, who made his debut at the event.

Billboard reported that Richie was aware he was performing for a mix of longtime followers and those whose parents or siblings are fans. He treated the crowd to a career-spanning collection of hits, including "Penny Lover;" his Diana Ross duet, "Endless Love," in which he got the crowd to sing Ross' lines; and The Commodores' classic "Brick House."

Richie added that Saturday might have marked his first Bonnaroo set, but he hoped it wouldn't be his last. Not a chance.

Meanwhile, Classic Hits 98.7 WFGR is remembering Kasem with a special replay from the 1980s of some of his best "American Top 40" episodes from 6 to 10 p.m. today through Friday. Next Sunday starting at 8 a.m. is a Kasem-thon on WFGR.

Here are the highlights of Elton's debut performance at Bonnaroo.
