D. B. Henkel's "Father Time" is at Women's City Club for ArtPrize Eight.

The lifesize, working grandfather clock is carved out of African mahogany and has been popular with voters.

Wood and wood carvings have been popular with ArtPrize voters in the past, so it should be no surprise to see "Father Time" having success at ArtPrize Eight.

"Father Time" stands 5 feet, 8 inches tall. The entry has been in the Top 25 of the Public Vote in the Three-Dimensional category.

His mustache creates the hands of the clock, while his eyes and tie swing back and forth. At the top of the hour chimes sound and his mouth opens and closes in unison with the strikes of the clock.
