Do you need to find out where the elephant ears are being served at this year's Festival? There's an app for that!

Students at Grand Rapids Community College have developed an application for your smartphone, tablet or laptop that will enable you to find everything you need to at this year's 46th annual Festival of the Arts.

“It will tell you everything from where first aid is to where the food booths are, what’s on the stages because you can click on the stage and it will tell you the schedule of what’s on the stages,” Festival of the Arts Co-Chair Kellie Colosky-Garza told WOOD TV 8. “It’s interactive. It’ll show you where you are in relationship to where you want to be.”

GRCC instructor Andrew Rozema, who helped the students develop the app, told Mlive.com, that the app is an experiment in progress, "I think we will hit the initial goal here, which was to give users a map of where they were so that they would know what the events directly around them looked like and that would take them into the appropriate area of the website."

You can download the Android version of the app at Google Play, and the Apple version at iTunes.

Now go out and find those elephant ears!!
