A couple of weeks ago, we told you of a contest to design a new jersey alternative for the Grand Rapids Griffins hockey team.

Local and national artists submitted their designs to the web site, Uni-Watch, which conducted a popular vote to whittle the contestants down to twelve finalists.

Here are the final twelve.

The final decision as to which design the Griffs will wear in several games this season now rests upon the shoulders of Griffins management, who will release that information before the season starts in October.

Here are the final 12 jersey designs chosen by the readers of Uni-Watch.

Adam Cain designed this retro look that features a 'G' logo.
