12 days ago we received some very sad news. I found out that a friend's 8 year old little girl has an inoperable brain tumor after they noticed her face drooping and took her into the ER.

How quickly the life of a family can change forever. The cancer is called DIPG and mainly affects children. The survival rate is zero percent. While we don't know for certain how much time is left, this is a very aggressive, fast moving disease, so time is of the essence. We need a miracle (and believe in miracles) so praying for one is the primary need we are asking for.

The picture of this little girl , Caroline Kanis (left), of Holland MI and her beautiful mother Tina Kanis (right) was taken prior to diagnosis. The additional pictures are post diagnosis, and as you can see, the tumor has caused the left side of her face to droop.

Make A Wish Foundation was able to give her a dream vacation with her family- but only for a short number of days per her Doctors orders. She will be home very soon We will continue praying and continue hoping for this family, but there may not be a great length of time, only God knows. These tumors grow very rapidly.

We are looking for prayers and also to raise funds for an idea that will help make each day of this little girl's life as special and happy as possible. While the miracle of a cure would be what we would like to give her, so far, there isn't one.

So we want to offer a gift to create a wonderful memory for this very special little girl and her lovely family. This gift is not from me, this is from all of you who so generously contribute and you will be recognized.
