Here's some really neat footage of the Mackinac Bridge construction in 1956. It was filmed on 8mm and now on the internet for the world to see. How cool.

Today I came across one of those "pay dirt" 8mm reels from eBay. I think my home state folks will recognize this. I took the liberty of adding a little music for effect.

The first time I visited Michigan my wife told me there are two kinds of Michiganders, Yoopers and Trolls (those that live above and under the bridge). I was a bit confused but went with it.

I guess I still am to be honest. I really need to make a roadtrip to the UP.
